Marcin Golizda

Marcin Golizda (retired junior inspector), former head of the Cybercrime Department of the Criminal Bureau of the National Police Headquarters.
He has always been at the frontiers of the latest technologies, including special operational technics (GPS, wiretaps, surveillance, comms) and cybersecurity. Since his first days in the Police, invariably connected with IT and comms Units and Departments.
During his professional career on the force he was National Contact point for the European Network of Law Enforcement Technology Services (ENLETS), that promotes the implementation of the latest technologies in the daily operations of the law enforcement services along with close cooperation with business, industrial and R&D centres. He was an EU Council expert during the 7th round of mutual evaluation (GENVAL) dedicated to prevention and fight against cybercrime.
Currently he works at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, where he is co-creating Cybersecurity Centre. He is also a cybersecurity expert in Polish Platform for Homeland Security.
